ケアンズ留学紀行 ~A letter to people I met in Australia~

To people I met in Australia,

I’ve come back to Japan at last. I can hardly believe not to be in Australia. There’s no
Woolworth, Coles, Woolshed and the cozy bed like that in my host’s house.

To be honest, the first week in Australia was so bad because I lost my phone, couldn’t listen to English at all and couldn’t say what I wanna say.

However, my feeling had been getting better. Teachers were so enthusiastic about teaching so that my English skill improved gradually. And my classmates were interesting and funny. Those motivated me a lot. In addition, my host family was so kind and good cook. It also gave me energy.

By the way, I like the catch phrase below,

Speak in English

Think in English

Dream in English

It means English as just express what you feel would change English as way in which realizes your dream if you hang on practicing English and work harder and harder. What a wonderful phrase it is! In Australia, I thought ABOUT English a lot, but I didn’t think IN English. Yet, I have to realize one of my ideals. I wanna work not only in japan, but also emerging countries like China and Singapore so that I’ll contribute to world's economic growth! So I continue to study English, management, IT, etc.

Keep in touch on several ways. Sometimes I'll write about something in English on my blog and share the link on Facebook. And let's contact by using skype (ID:toshinori15). Although I’m still not good at English, I’ll have improved my English till you contact me! When you come to japan, I'll show you around!!

Everything in Australia was precious for me.
I really wanna express my gratitude to EACH person I met in Australia.
Thank you for your all kindness.

Sincerely,
Toshinori Sugita
